Where the soup have we been?
Posted by Jon Lunger, ArtsQuest’s Marketing Manager and soup-ed out hombre.
First things first, apologies for the lack of postings last week.
We received a handful of emails from our faithful readers (we love you too), questioning where the updates were. And, oddly enough, all of them were looking for more updates about soup (specifically about Souper Bowl II).
Well dear readers, I’ve never been prouder. You and I are not so different. I too am led by my stomach. And, in a cruel twist of fate, my stomach apparently decided that the metric-ton of soup I consumed on Saturday wasn’t enough.
In an apparent attempt to ensure that more soupy goodness enter into my diet, I was bed-ridden with a nasty bout of Bronchitis, simultaneously sidelining our blogging efforts for a week while guaranteeing that my diet would be chock-full-o-soup for an additional 7 days.
But don’t cry for me, Argentina… the truth is, the Souper Bowl was AWESOME. And, while my week-o-sick days was filled with even more soup, nothing came close to the culinary perfection I experienced last Saturday at the Banana Factory.
Oh, and I almost forgot- shout out to nice lady who recognized me at the event (from this blog, no less).
I’ve included the winners below. Truthfully, everyone in attendance was the real winner(s), ‘cause damn… that soup was mmmmmmmmmmmm.
